A Fantastic Year!

2012

 

It's been a Fantastic Year for sure!

 

2012 has come and gone so quickly it feels like only a day has gone by.
In reflection I realize what a great year it was... with heavy snow fall in the Pacific Northwest to lots of parties, retreats , girls nights, a weekend at the beach, quilt shows

and of course family fun!

 

 

I had creative weekends finishing the patio, building a potting bench, setting up a quilting studio, remodeling a bathroom and oh so much more...

 

I made girly drapes - a long lost career of mine -

Created a quilt for the Busy Bee Quilter's Guild of Snohomish County -

(It brought in over $3000 dollars to support children's quilt charities and education!)

I entered 5 quilts in the show and won 2nd place on two quilts!

Spent lots of time with the kids having backyard BBQ's and making smores over the pit.

Took time out at the cabin just enjoying the view

Had a son graduate from the University of Washington (happy day!)
 - and move away - (sad day)

Then prepped for the holidays so we could all be together again.

2012 has been a good year. Lots of friends, family and love!

I just know that 2013 will be just as awesome - maybe more!
